Adam Jones

I live with severe haemophilia B (formerly known as "Christmas disease", and the same type of haemophilia that was present in The Royal Families of Great Britain, Greece, Germany, and Russia). This blog is about my experiences, both past and present, of living day to day with this genetic bleeding disorder. I have other family members and friends who are also affected by haemophilia. Some have, or carry this illness, whilst others deal with the fall out that inevitably arises from having someone in their life with a life long illness. So I guess this isn't just about me, but about them too. As well as being a haemophiliac, I am a husband, father, brother, son, and employee. My illness doesn't define me, although I have to admit I wouldn't be the person I am today without it, so I guess it has moulded me somewhat.
