I have had the pleasure of teaching in Browning, MT at Browning Middle School for the past 12 years! I am a certified Reading Specialist K-12 and I am also a certified English teacher 7-12. Currently I am teaching an 8th grade homeroom, a 7th Grade Language Arts and a 7th and 8th Grade Corrective Reading class. I am also available to meet with other students that need additional help in the area of reading. I love collaborating with collegues and other members of my profession to create interesting, exciting and effective lessons and pride myself on establish a caring and support yet challenging educational environment for my students. I live in East Glacier Park on the edge of Glacier National Park with my husband of 10 years, my aging labrador and my cherrished daughter, Maya Helen. I love spending my free time in the mountains and on the water. I love hiking, skiing, kayaking and paddle boarding and when I find a quiet moment or two...reading:)
