Ben Cook

I'm a fifth year astronomy grad student at Harvard, studying computational astrophysics. I investigate the formation histories of galaxies -- when they formed their stars -- by modeling their images as they'd be seen by the Hubble Telescope. My thesis work has involved developing high-performance architectures with GPU-acceleration to simulate these complex systems as quickly as possible.
