Aged 87, Trained as an engineer officer in the Royal Navy. to Bsc. standard with emphasis on steam thermodynamics in the days of steam propulsion. Left the Navy in 1969 and took over as MD of a small corrosion protection and engineering reclamation company in the field of flame sprayed metals and paint systems. Considerable experience and involvement in a wide range of industries relating to corrosion and surface wear protection. Memberships, now lapsed, of the Mechanical, Marine and Welding institutions. A strong interest and involvement in sailing and matters nautical, mainly coastal in the U.K. and Mediterranean. Divorced with four children of mature age. 12 years, vested interest free, observation of the Climate Debate, having attended some four courses on the subject.
