David Kircus is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TEAM Strategies, where he combines his extensive experience as a former NFL wide receiver with his leadership skills. Every summer, he volunteers at recruiting camps, where he works directly with incoming athletes, teaching them the necessary drills and techniques to prepare for the challenges ahead in their athletic careers. David’s unique blend of sports and business experience has made him a successful sales and marketing director. David began his athletic career at Grand Valley State University, where he became a standout football player. His performance on the field earned him a spot in the 2003 NFL Draft, where the Detroit Lions selected him. After his time with the Lions, he joined the Denver Broncos, where he continued to showcase his versatility. He later played for the Las Vegas Locomotives in the United Football League, contributing to the team’s championship victory. Growing up in Imlay City, Michigan, David was an accomplished athlete in multiple sports, including basketball, football, and track. He earned All-State honors in basketball and set records in track events. He scored over 60 touchdowns in high school on the football field, demonstrating his all-around athleticism. After high school, he attended Grand Valley State University, where he helped lead the team to its first National Championship and set several NCAA records. Kircus’s NFL career began with the Detroit Lions, where he quickly earned recognition for his strong work ethic and impactful plays. He moved to the Denver Broncos, where he continued to excel, particularly in the preseason, where he made an impressive 84-yard touchdown reception. He also took on a mentoring role, helping younger players adjust to the professional game. After retiring from professional football, David transitioned into the business world, becoming the COO of TEAM Strategies.
