Jay Gidwitz

Jay Gidwitz is a creative technologist and visual artist in San Diego, California. He has been Web Strategy Lead at Riverbend Industries since 2022, and is co-founder of Studio Issa, an AI-first web design and development agency. He has worked with WordPress since 2004 — more than twenty years — which is why he specializes in Google Analytics implementation, WordPress performance work, and front-end development. He handled Google Analytics integration and quality assurance for MonsterInsights and ExactMetrics at Awesome Motive, implemented web analytics at 1-800-Flowers, and did quality assurance for Copyblogger, StudioPress, and Rainmaker. He earned a B.A. in Visual Art from Brown University after training in classical drawing and painting at the School of Representational Art in Chicago. As an artist he works in surrealist photography and digital painting, exhibited internationally including at Necronomicon Providence.
