John Broekman

John Broekman was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. His early environment played a significant role in shaping his calm nature, curiosity, and desire to remain connected to the world around him. He graduated from Bishop Kenny High School, where he developed a strong interest in learning and a deep sense of involvement. After high school, he moved to Fort Myers to attend Florida Gulf Coast University, where he began pursuing a degree in Business Management. During this time, he joined a fraternity, gaining his first experience in leadership and teamwork. After completing his first year, John returned to Jacksonville and transferred to the University of North Florida. He became more active in his fraternity and eventually held the third-highest leadership position within it. He contributed to philanthropic efforts, including organizing fundraising events for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and donating blood through Oneblood’s Big Red Bus every semester. He graduated in 2020 with honors, earning a 3.8 GPA while majoring in Political Science and minoring in Business Management. He also joined the Economics Society, expanding his knowledge of political and financial systems. John's professional background includes experience in politics, finance, and logistics. He worked on campaigns at the local, state, and national levels, including helping coordinate a rally for President Trump in Jacksonville, where he met him in person. In the logistics field, he worked at Magellan Logistics and successfully grew a $50,000 account into one worth over $500,000. He also worked at TEKsystems, where his strong performance led to a promotion just three months after being hired. Outside of work, John is passionate about electronic dance music and has attended over 100 festivals across the country since 2012. He stays active through regular gym workouts and biking, enjoys competitive PC gaming, and often spends time fishing or relaxing at the beach with friends. John Broekman continues to approach life and work with dedication, adaptability, and a commitment to growth. With his diverse experiences and grounded mindset, he remains open to new opportunities and challenges that align with his values.
