Kat Devitt

Kat Devitt's Gothic historical romance manuscript, WHEN A LADY KEEPS A SECRET, was selected for the 2023-2024 SmoochPit Mentorship Program. A Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominee, Kat also placed as a runner-up in OPQ Press’s 2019 Spooky Samhain Contest. Her short stories have appeared in Books ‘N Pieces Magazine, Suspense Magazine, Bold + Italic, and several other venues. One short story, THE SCENT OF LAVENDER, was featured on the Tales to Terrify podcast (Episode 441). Kat is currently writing a Gothic horror novel set in the Scottish Highlands with the working title ONLY MONSTERS LIVE HERE, blending folklore and personal experience.
