Inspired by her sister's career as a registered nurse and shaped by personal experiences supporting loved ones through complex healthcare journeys, she developed a deep passion for advocating for patients and advancing health equity. Those experiences continue to guide her commitment to delivering meaningful change in healthcare and empowering others through knowledge. Holding both a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Health, Dr. Constant is committed to advancing research that improves patient outcomes and strengthens communities. She is passionate about mentoring future healthcare professionals and aspires to serve as a university professor, where she can inspire the next generation of leaders to pursue excellence, compassion, and innovation in public health. Her work is driven by the belief that education and research are powerful tools for creating lasting improvements in healthcare. Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Dr. Constant has devoted more than 15 years to serving as the director of her church's community food pantry. In this role, she leads efforts to provide nutritious food while educating individuals and families about healthy living and disease prevention. She also volunteers with a local literacy nonprofit, helping improve reading outcomes in underserved communities because she believes education is a cornerstone of healthier, more equitable societies. Above all, Dr. Constant is a devoted wife, mother, mentor, and lifelong learner who values resilience, empathy, and service. Whether supporting patients, conducting research, mentoring students, or serving her community, she approaches every opportunity with integrity and compassion.
