Aristotle (384-322 BC) - an ancient philosopher, the founder of the psychological system, determined the search for explanations of mental activity for centuries. The soul he considered to be a complex entity, one with the body. The soul and the body are inseparable, the soul has the main role, it is a form of forms, or entelechy. He assigned to the body a subordinate or secondary role. The soul as a form of organization of the body is indivisible, but manifests itself in three functions: vegetative, motor and sensual and intelligent.
