Patrick Gailus

Patrick Gailus' formative years unfolded in Portland, Maine, and later in Merrimack, New Hampshire. He developed a profound connection with the outdoors at Center Day Camp in Windham, Maine, spending over ten years immersed in mountain biking, swimming, and camping. His participation in Troop 424 as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout in Merrimack deepened his passion for camping and outdoor adventures. Patrick's middle and high school education was an eclectic mix of circus arts, farming, and distance swimming. He further enhanced his outdoor skills during a yearlong stint in Utah, focusing on mountain biking, skiing, and climbing. His schooling concluded with his graduation from Fusion Academy in Burlington, Massachusetts, in 2022. Starting his professional journey, Patrick returned to his roots as an assistant counselor at Center Day Camp in Maine, guiding and inspiring the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts. He later held customer service positions at Lowe's in Amherst, New Hampshire, and Buckley's Great Steaks in Merrimack. In these roles, he was known for his exceptional customer service, willingness to help, and positive attitude, making him a favorite among customers and colleagues.
