Nursing taught me to care for people. Disaster preparedness taught me to care for communities. Buddhist practice and hospice continue to teach me how to remain present with suffering without turning away. Today, I bring these experiences together through writing, research, and documentary storytelling that bears witness to environmental disasters and explores what it means to hospice wounded landscapes and the communities that call them home.
