Course: BA Communication Research Favorite book [series]: All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. Each chapter of every book is jam-packed with so much happening (so much so that each book's audiobook is somewhat close to 24 hours total), but the storyline of each book is not complicated or tangled at all. The series was written really well (albeit there are some loose threads I want tied), and the ending makes me feel good (unlike other series that make me want to rage because of unresolved major plot points). And the way fantasy and history was tied together is actually really cool! I'm actually in the middle of re-listening to the third book because I enjoyed it too much! Favorite film: Divergent. This movie actually stuck close to the book and managed to succinctly cover all storylines in two hours well. It's arguably the best in the franchise, plus, looking at Theo James for two hours is a bonus eye candy. Favorite media practitioner: Youtubers and married couple Jess and Gabriel Conte come to mind since they are actually using their accounts as a platform to share their faith and give really good advice, bringing a light in the drama-filled dark recesses of youtube vloggers. Favorite songwriter: Ed Sheeran. Cheesy, I know, but he does write really good songs, even if he knows it's not his brand (Say You Love Me performed by Jessie Ware, 2002 by Amber Leigh to cite some). My current favorite song has to be Naked by James Arthur though, since the song is basically about wanting to give someone (or something) all of your love. The all or nothing message motivates me to give a 110% of my effort in everything I do from here on out. Favorite meal: It actually depends on the food establishment I'm ordering from, but it's currently my boyfriend's spaghetti bolognese. I never know what flavors I taste every time, since he plays with the proportions and ingredients he puts in it every time he cooks it. Hobbies: I like to read, but since I'm too busy to read nowadays, I listen to the audiobook versions instead. I also like singing, and a little bit of digital design, to add some creativity to my usual predetermined black-and-white steps in my research papers for class.
